This week, we are celebrating Catholic Schools Week. Our Parish School of Ss. Joachim and Anne has been serving the community for the past 99 years. Our school began spreading the Gospel Message in 1924.

                       

The theme for Catholic Schools this year is Ignite the Catholic Imagination. Here are the activities of our school for this week.

                       

Sunday, 1/29/23 – Solidarity and Faith. 7th and 8th Grade will attend the 11:30 Mass and the Gospel Choir will distribute information about the school.

                       

Monday, 1/30/23 – Mission Monday. All students will make cards for the children of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Each child will donate $1.00 for the Loukoumi Foundation.

                       

Tuesday, 1/31/23 – Touring Tuesday. DeSales Media will honor 3 of our students for their outstanding articles on Social Justice and Responsibilities, which are featured in the Tablet this week. Buddy Day for students to bring a friend to school.

                       

Wednesday, 2/1/23 – Welcome Wednesday. Roller Coaster Projects displayed in the Gym by the 4th Grade. Students receive Free Ice Cream and Talent Certificates.

                       

Thursday, 2/2/23 – Thankful Thursday. Teacher Appreciation Day. Pictures will be taken with their teachers. Students will surprise their teachers with small gifts of appreciation.

                       

Friday, 2/3/23 – Friendship and Vocation Friday. Career Day – students in Grades 6, 7 and 8 will discuss their plans for the future to the students in Grades K through 5. Closing Mass at 9:00 AM – Thankful for our Christ-centered learning place that fosters intellectual development in an environment of love, justice and peace.
