It was so exciting to participate in this year’s Great Diocesan Read Aloud! Our District Superintendent, Janet Heed, came to visit SsJA and read Ricky The Rock That Couldn't Roll to our Kindergarten and First Grade classes. Then, Liza Wiemer, author of The Assignment, met with our 8th Graders on Zoom. She gave a presentation about her novel, what inspired her novel, and discussed the writing process!
